Limited Product Warranty
Before returning an Industrial Resistance Tester for repair or
calibration, you must first call and receive an RMA number.
Contact Harris IRT Enterprises Service Department and
report the failure. Please be prepared to provide proof of date of
shipment (i.e. product serial number).
If all attempts to resolve the problem via teleconference fail
to restore the item to working condition, the customer will be assigned
a return authorization number and be directed to ship the defective
item, freight prepaid, to the Harris IRT Enterprises Service
Department for repair or replacement.
Upon completion of the warranty, Harris IRT Enterprises
will return the item to the customer via UPS Ground Services prepaid.
Air freight shipments can be provided at customer expense.
Harris IRT Enterprises reserves the right to challenge
any warranty claim if, in its opinion, there is sufficient evidence to
indicate that the failure was the result of abuse, accidental damage or
misuse beyond the reasonable intended use of the equipment. In such an
event, the customer will be contacted before any repairs are made.
Third-party peripherals (such as Infrared Temperature
Compensation Probes, etc.) or any other products not manufactured by
Harris IRT Enterprises are covered by their own manufacturer's
warranties and are not warranted by Harris IRT Enterprises. Any
warranty concerns with such third-part products should be forwarded to
their respective manufacturers.
